A 49-year-old Bakersfield man is in police custody after allegedly killing his father.

Officers found the unresponsive victim lying on the ground around 6:30 a.m. Monday outside a house in the 6100 block of Chandler Way.

Police say Alfred Juarez was arrested in Los Angeles County. He is accused of murder, elder abuse and robbery.

No other suspects are being sought.
