Two people are dead and another person has been injured in a crash in Delano.

It happened Thursday morning when a speeding driver ran off the road and struck several metal and wooden poles — at Woolomes Avenue near Wallace Road.

The driver and 19-year-old passenger Andru Felix died at the scene.

A 19-year-old woman was taken to Kern Medical.

Officers are still investigating what caused the crash.
