BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — Police are looking for a man who allegedly removed a credit card reader from a southwest Bakersfield gas station.

It happened September 17, 2025, at a station in the 2100 block of Taft Highway where a heavy-set man with long dark hair removed the panel on the fuel pump and stole the card reader.

The man was seen driving a white GMC Sierra Extended Cab pickup with the front passenger hubcap missing.
