BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — A suspect has posted bail following a deadly hit and run accident in southwest Bakersfield.

But Nicholas Aguirre, Jr., 38, will face arraignment in mid December in the wake of an accident that left Jared Mitchell, 47, dead in the 7900 block of Camino Media October 12.

Mitchell’s body was discovered that morning, but police say there was no evidence of a suspect or a vehicle at the scene.

Aguirre faces charges of DUI, manslaughter, and hit and run causing death.
