BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — Bakersfield Police have released the numbers from their latest DUI checkpoint.

Officers screened 1,182 vehicles in the in the 200 block of Union Avenue Friday night into early Saturday morning. Six drivers were arrested for suspected DUI.

BPD also cited 19 unlicensed drivers and 6 motorists for driving on suspended licenses.

31 vehicles were seized.
