BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — A 66-year-old Bakersfield man has entered a plea to eight felony counts of alleged sexual abuse of children.

Roman Duran-Ayala entered a not-guilty plea Monday and was ordered held on more than $7 million bail after his arrest last week on charges of rape and sex acts against minors.

He’s due back in court next week.
