man accused of drugging, raping teenager enters plea

BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — A 49-year-old man is accused of luring two teenagers to a southwest Bakersfield hotel room where he allegedly drugged and raped a 14-year-old girl.

Court documents indicate Christopher Nelson allegedly gave the girl methamphetamine, then engaged in several sex acts at a hotel in the 3600 block of Wible Road on November 26, 2025.

It all started when Nelson and the girl reportedly exchanged text messages where Nelson allegedly agreed to buy a nicotine vape.

Nelson is also accused of groping a 15-year-old girl and preventing her from leaving the room.

Police say they found Nelson and the 14-year-old inside the room.

Nelson has entered not guilty pleas to charges including kidnapping and raping a drugged victim. He returns to court December 12.
