BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — Police are investigating a fatal shooting in northeast Bakersfield.

Shots rang out shortly after 10:00 p.m. Christmas night in the 2700 block of Blade Avenue near Bakersfield College, where officers found a man and a woman dead from gunshot wounds.

The Kern County Coroner will release their names later.
