BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — Sheriffs deputies in Santa Clarita Valley have arrested a burglary suspect from Bakersfield.

Investigators linked the case to a burglary in Saugus on November 27, 2025, where approximately $8,000 in property was stolen from a business in the 26000 of Bouquet Canyon Road.

The 57-year-old suspect, whose name has not been released, was arrested Monday at a motel in Bakersfield and was transported to the Santa Clarita Jail.
