BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — Police have apprehended two teenagers in connection to a deadly shooting in southeast Bakersfield.

The boys were taken into custody Saturday morning in the 500 block of H Street following the killing January 2, 2026 at Foods Co in the 1800 block of White Lane, where a robbery gone bad left a man dead.

The suspects were booked into Kern County Juvenile Hall on charges including homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, and gang participation.
