A DUI checkpoint lands four Bakersfield drivers in jail.

Police made the arrests Friday night in the 2400 block of Union Avenue. Twenty eight people got tickets for driving without a license and five drivers were cited for for driving on a suspended license.

Out of 1,204 vehicles which passed through the checkpoint, fourteen drivers were tested for DUI.

Police say two of the drivers arrested had prior DUI convictions.
