Another postponement for the status conference hearing for former Kern County Supervisor Zack Scrivner.
August 26 is new new date for the former District 2 supervisor who faces allegations including child sexual assault.
Scrivner is charged with three counts of willful cruelty of a child and 2 counts of possession of an assault rifle after Kern County Sheriff’s deputies responded in April 2024 to reports that Scrivner was experiencing a “psychotic episode” and was armed at his home in Tehachapi.
The hearing was originally scheduled for early May before being pushed to July 10, and was delayed once more.
Scrivner denies the allegations.
