A man accused of killing his father in south Bakersfield has been charged with murder.

Alfred Juarez, Jr., 49, was arraigned Thursday on charges including first degree murder, robbery, and carjacking after the victim was found unresponsive Monday night outside a home in the 6100 block of Chandler Way.

The man died at the scene.

Juarez was arrested in Los Angeles County and is being held without bail.
