BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — An employee at Del Oro High School was charged Thursday with six felony counts in a case involving sex with a minor.

Band coach Salvador Fabian, 26, was arrested by the Bakersfield Police Department Special Victims Unit October 28, 2025, at the campus on East Panama Lane.

Authorities say Fabian posted bail but failed to show up for his arraignment. He’s currently on administrative leave.
