BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — A physical education teacher with Tehachapi Unified School District has been charged with felony possession of child pornography and annoying or molesting a child.

Timothy Seaman, 42, was arrested December 16, 2025, after a parent told Tehachapi police their child was inappropriately touched by Seaman at an undisclosed school campus.

Officers say they learned of a similar incident at the same campus.

Police say they found evidence of child pornography and inappropriate contact with a child after they seized cell phones and other digital devices during a search of Seaman’s home.

Seaman pleaded not guilty December 18, 2025, and remains in custody without bail. He goes back to court February 25, 2026.
