BAKERSFIELD. CA (KUZZ) — A Kern County Sheriff’s Office sergeant has been arrested on felony charges including second-degree burglary and being under the influence of a controlled substance while in possession of a firearm.
Ryan Dunbier faces additional misdemeanor charges of destroying or concealing evidence after a month-long investigation led to his arrest Tuesday morning.
Dunbier allegedly stole items from the department’s property room.
He is being held on $500,000 bail and goes to court Thursday, January 22.
