BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ ) — A two-month-old baby is dead after being found unresponsive at a house in northeast Bakersfield.
Kern County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded early Wednesday morning to a call for a medical emergency in the 400 block of Crawford Street where they found the girl not breathing.
Deputies performed life-saving measures on the child until she was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
KCSO detectives are investigating the incident.
