BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — Two people are facing charges for allegedly committing a series of thefts from several Bakersfield stores.
Christopher Bleakley, 24, and Cole Hernandez, 30, were apprehended January 20 in the 1600 block of Columbus Street after allegedly stealing from stores including Target, dd’s Discounts, and Lowe’s.
Bleakley was allegedly involved in 18 separate thefts involving merchandise worth nearly $13,000. Hernandez reportedly committed 14 thefts, allegedly taking items valued at more than $6,000.
The pair face charges including grand theft, shoplifting, robbery, and resisting arrest.
