BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — An investigation is underway after threats were made to two separate Bakersfield high schools.
The Kern High School District reported Tuesday social media threats were made last weekend against Del Oro High School on East Panama Lane and Golden Valley High School on Hosking Avenue.
The threats were reported to the Bakersfield Police Department. KHSD police are also investigating.
Police officers and other additional security were stationed at both campuses Tuesday as a precautionary measure.
