Delays on Highway 178 have been, well, delayed. Construction is causing more delays on Highway 178 but Monday and Tuesday plans were put on hold for a couple of days. Contractors will be drilling pavement samples Wednesday and Thursday around the 178 and Alfred Harrell Highway/Comanche Drive intersection. Flaggers will be out from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM each day to stop traffic for about ten minutes at a time.
