BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — Four people were screened for suspected DUI during a Bakersfield Police checkpoint.
Friday night’s operation in the 8600 block of Ming Avenue extended into early Saturday morning and saw just over 1,000 vehicles screened.
Two drivers were taken into custody for allegedly driving drunk.
13 drivers were cited for driving without a license, and 6 vehicles were impounded.
One driver was cited for reckless driving and had his car impounded for 30 days.
