BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — The Bakersfield Police Department saw an uptick in 911 calls and arrests from February 2026 to March 2026.
The department’s latest crime stats report shows 24,141 911 calls in March, and 19,661 calls in February.
1,069 arrests were made in March. There were 976 arrests in February.
The remainder of the statistics are as follows:
- 149 vehicle thefts
- Two homicides
- 44 robberies
- 120 aggravated assaults
- 89 burglaries
- Eight sexual assaults
- 61 DUI arrests
- 193 domestic violence reports
