BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) –A 22-year-old man is behind bars for an alleged killing in east Bakersfield.
Donterrence Brown was arrested Tuesday in connection to the fatal shooting Monday morning of Arthur Ward, 30, in the 600 block of Knotts Street.
Another man was wounded by gunfire and is recovering at a local hospital.
Police haven’t released the other victim’s name or said what may have led to the shooting.
