ROSAMOND, CA (KUZZ) — A woman is in custody after leading authorities on a chase from Hollywood to Kern County in a stolen work truck.
The pursuit began around 10:00 a.m. in Burbank and continued north on the 5 and 14 freeways.
Authorities say the truck, loaded with traffic cones and road signs, was stopped after officers deployed spike strips near Rosamond.
The vehicle continued on damaged tires before the suspect surrendered peacefully after more than an hour.
