BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — A 15-year-old boy has been charged with sexual battery in connection to an incident in southwest Bakersfield.
Police say the suspect was arrested April 13, 2026, on charges of sexual battery, false imprisonment, and assault to commit a felony following the incident March 23, 2026, in the 9000 block of Camino Media.
KGET reports the boy was identified with the help of several people who contacted authorities after seeing a news release on the incident which contained surveillance images of the suspect.
No other details about the case have been released.
