BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — A 40-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly impersonating a Bakersfield police officer.
Nicolas Leyva was arrested Sunday morning after reportedly pulling over a driver in the 200 block of South Union Avenue.
Authorities say Levya was driving a black GM Yukon outfitted with flashing red and blue lights.
The victim became suspicious and called 911.
No one was injured.
Leyva is facing charges including impersonating an officer and false imprisonment.
