BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — Kern County Superior Court is celebrating Juror Appreciation Week, running through Friday, to recognize the dedication and service of jurors in our community.
Established by the California Legislature in 1998, the week honors citizens who give their time to help uphold the fundamental right to a trial by jury.
Each year, millions of Californians answer the call to serve, making this important American tradition possible through their participation.
