BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — A 44-year-old Bakersfield man will spend 90 days in jail and two years of probation after pleading no contest to child pornography charges.
Fong Chun was sentenced Friday, May 22, and must also register as a sex offender, as well as complete 360 hours of community service, after authorities seized 13 electronic devices containing thousands of illicit files and more than 70 terabytes of storage during a search on July 2025 in the 10000 block of Dutch Iris Drive.
Last month, Chun entered the no contest plea in the hope the judge would sentence him to less than what was sought by the District Attorney’s Office.
