A judge has agreed to allow the 24th Street widening project in Bakersfield to proceed.The decision came after he halted it a year ago. Judge Kenneth Twisselman ruled Friday the city had adequately revised the environmental impact report after a group of residents challenged it in 2015. The ruling will take effect after residents have time to appeal with the judge saying he doesn’t want bulldozers coming in over the weekend.
