BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — A former Bakersfield school employee has been sentenced after admitting to sexual offenses involving two minors.
On Thursday Aldrich Cadiz from San Lauren Elementary School on Victor Street received two years’ time served, must register as an offender, and is barred from contacting the victims, after admitting to authorities that he sexually assaulted one victim and created a fake Snapchat account to obtain photos from two girls when they were 14.
The abuse took place in 2022.
A mother whose daughter was coached by Cadiz said he appeared safe and trustworthy before exploiting her child over several years.
