BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — A Kern County man will spend the rest of his life in prison after being sentenced for sexually abusing a child relative.
Pablo Perez, 31, was sentenced Wednesday to three consecutive life terms without the possibility of parole, plus an additional three years.
Perez was convicted in May on six felony charges, including aggravated kidnapping, continuous sexual abuse of a child, and possession of child pornography.
Investigators say the abuse was reported in 2022 and had been ongoing for about a year before it was discovered.
