Jelly Roll says music may not always be the center of his life, even after reaching some of the biggest milestones of his career.
During a recent radio interview, the country star said he would be willing to walk away from music entirely if he believed God was calling him toward a different purpose. He even mentioned the possibility of working at a homeless shelter in Paducah, Kentucky.
The comments came as Jelly Roll reflected on a period of major professional success. He has earned Grammy recognition, collected honors from the ACM and CMA Awards, and become a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
He also said he plans to spend more time away from touring and the daily pressure of the music business. His focus includes therapy, sobriety, faith, and creating space to think carefully about what comes next.
