A Bakersfield man was arrested after he stole a car and then crashed it into a house on the corner of Monterey and Brown Streets injuring a 2-year-old and a 6-year-old playing on the porch and their grandmother.21-year-old Francisco Padilla tried to get away but witnesses chased him down. The 6-year-old girl, who was pinned under the car, was jacked free by witnesses. She is in critical but stable condition, her sister and grandmother have minor injuries.
