Jelly Roll‘s 2025 plans took an unexpected turn when Post Malone invited him to open for his Big Ass Stadium Tour. Jelly initially planned to take a step back from music in the new year in order to focus on other creative projects, but ultimately the country star couldnât refuse Postâs offer, and the plans materialized quickly. âIt didnât even seem real how fast the tour came together,” Jelly Roll told Nashville Lifestyles. “Post hit me and was like, âWe should tour,â and Iâm like, âIâm always in, anytime.â From us agreeing to it, to announcing it was like 12 days, it was crazy.â In addition to supporting Postâs tour, Jelly is set to make his acting debut in the show Fire Country on CBS in April, and will serve as American Idol‘s first-ever Artist in Residence during the showâs spring season.
