Eric was born and raised in Los Angeles, where his passion for broadcasting started early. At Chapman University, he spent hours in the campus radio station learning to write, produce, and deliver news –experience that shaped his straightforward, conversational style. 

After college, Eric built his career both behind the mic and in the newsroom before joining KUZZ in Bakersfield, where he anchor’s the news and covers everything from public safety to local government and community events. 

Eric believes good radio should feel like a real conversation — simple, informative, and rooted in the community he serves. His goal is to keep Bakersfield connected to what’s happening every day
