Tammy Jay is new to radio, and is now living out a dream she never knew she had. She joined KUZZ in June of 2023 as a weekend and fill-in DJ. She has lived most of her life here in Bakersfield and is a graduate of South High. Whenever time allows, she loves traveling to Morro Bay and Pismo with her husband Mike, and their daughters Harley-Rose and Alexis. You can also find her at the Bakersfield Speedway, cheering on her 2 brothers, in the American Stock and Hobby Stock divisions. Family and friends are most important to her and her favorite mottos are –  My circle is small, but mighty and – Life is short, take the trip, eat the cake, buy the shoes. Tammy Jay is honored and blessed to be a part of Bakersfield’s Best Country – a station she has spent so many years listening to.
