Police have named a suspect who they believe brandished a box cutter and threatened Dollar General employees with gun violence during a robbery on June 2 at the Brundage Lane store.
Investigators also think 25-year-old parolee Juan Galvez pulled a gun on another person in a separate incident.
Galvez is 6-foot-4 with a large build and weighs 220 pounds. He has short-shaved hair, a mustache and goatee and “KC” tattooed on the back of his head.
He is wanted for violating the terms of his parole, according to a Bakersfield Police Department press release.
Those with more information on Galvez’s whereabouts are being urged to call Det. Mike Gerrity at (661) 326-3273 or BPD at (661) 327-7111.
