Bakersfield Police is asking for the public’s help to find a man who robbed a convenience store on the corner of Chester and Ming last week.
On January 10th, Fastrip employees tried to stop a man who left the store with two 30 packs of beer. After he threatened to stab one of the employees, he was let go.
He returned 40 minutes later to purchase a beer and was refused. He then took out a flat head screw driver and threatened again to stab an employee. He left shortly after.
The suspect is a man between the ages of 20-30, between 5’8″ and 5’10”, and was wearing black baseball cap, black jeans, a yellow and black flannel shirt, and white tennis shoes.
Anyone with information can call the BPD at 661-327-7111.
