A man has been arrested for the suspected kidnapping and rape of a woman on Panama Lane near Wible Road.

Police arrested Leon Davis last Saturday after a surveillance photo put him near the scene of the attack last week. The attack is said to have happened around 1:30a.m. last Thursday morning.

Davis is currently be held at Kern County Jail.
