CENTENNIAL HIGH ROBOTICS TEAM PREPS FOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Centennial High School robotics team celebrated their upcoming trip to the World Championships by taking their machines for a spin on campus.

The group will be traveling from Bakersfield to Louisville, Kentucky this month to compete against teams from more than 30 countries, but robotics advisor Colin Smith thinks his four seniors have a shot to win it all.

Chevron paid for the entire trip by donating almost $6,000 to the students.

This is the second time in the team’s three year history they have made it to the championships.
