Fans of the Bakersfield Blaze got a sweet surprise from the sky following yesterday’s [sun] 8-3 loss to the Stockton Ports. A helicopter poured 400 pounds of candy onto the field at Sam Lynn Ballpark, and kids ran out to grab as much as their parents would let them.

The Blaze end their ten-game homestand Monday evening.
