A feasibility study is being made on how to stop Caliente Creek from flooding Lamont. The floods come whenever there is a major rainstorm. Public Works Director Greg Fenton told Supervisors Tuesday that farmers have been building berms to protect their land, but they channel water south to flood roads and the town.
