(Folsom, CA) — Californians are being asked to conserve energy due to the heat wave. The California Independent System Operator has issued a statewide Flex Alert and is asking people across the state to voluntarily conserve electricity from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. today. The National Weather Service has issued excessive heat watches and warnings for several parts of California.
