(Los Angeles, CA) — An auction of legendary Dodger broadcaster Vin Scully’s memorabilia collection generated more than two-million-dollars. Scully auctioned off several one-of-a-kind items amassed during his 67-year hall of fame career on Wednesday. The most expensive price tag went to his 1955 and 1988 World Series championship rings, which each sold for 188-thousand-dollars. The 92-year-old says the money will go toward his grandchildren, and to benefit neuromuscular research at UCLA.
