The chase ended after Johnson crashed into a parked car. The two people in that car were not hurt. Johnson and 23 year-old Bruce Davis were taken into a custody. A loaded gun was found inside their vehicle. Johnson and David Palms escaped from the jail on April 28. Palms was arrested the next day. The two were awaiting trial for the murder of a three year-old boy.
