The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance regarding a homicide investigation.
On April 1, 2021, at approximately 3:43 p.m., deputies from the Wasco Substation were dispatched to an orchard near the intersection of Western Road and Poso Avenue for a subject down. When they arrived, they located Artemio Saucedo, age 27, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
