Officers with the Bakersfield Police Department are searching for a person wanted in connection to the theft of a catalytic converter in southeast Bakersfield.

The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying a vehicle involved in a theft of a catalytic converter. The incident occurred on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at approximately 4:12 PM, in the 4900 block of Stine Road.

The vehicle is described as: White newer model Volkswagen Jetta, four door, tinted windows, sunroof, white rims (black and yellow front passenger spare tire), and driver’s side rear tire is a different style
