Bank of America Donates $25,000 to CAPK

The Community Action Partnership of Kern received a gift Tuesday courtesy of Bank of America.

Karen Zuber, President of Bank of America Bakersfield presented a check of $25,000 to CAPK which will go to help feed people experiencing food insecurity in Kern County. CAPK CEO Jeremy Tobias says Kern County always ranks near the top of food insecure counties in the country. Tobias adds with this money, they’ll be able to provide 167,000 meals to those in need helping making a dent in the over 30,000,000 pounds of food they distribute to the community annually.
