A large scale enforcement operation by the Highway Patrol Bakersfield Division resulted in 230 citations being issued. Those included 127 for speeding and 13 cellphone violations, and three persons arrested for unspecified felonies. Wednesday’s campaign focused on Hwy 99 and State Route 58 on Wednesday, where 14 drivers got off with a warning, Nine vehicles were impounded and nine stolen vehicles were recovered.
