BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified a child killed in an auto accident near Mojave.
Zyon Romero, 6, of Weldon was ejected from the vehicle, and two other children inside the car were injured, when the Chevy Tahoe they were riding in overturned in the center median on Highway 14 north of Phillips Road on New Year’s Eve.
The Highway Patrol says the Tahoe was forced off the road by two other vehicles.
Anyone with information in the case is urged to contact the CHP office in Mojave.
